SECA Admissions
Standards Print

A student is admitted to SECA on the basis of former records and an interview with the administrator.  If the administration feels it is necessary, a placement test may be required.  Each student’s status will be reviewed yearly, and the student will be readmitted on the basis of academic progress and disciplinary record.  It must be remembered that admission to SECA is a privilege and not a right.  Any failure of the student and/or parent to comply with the rules and guidelines will result in the loss of this privilege.

K-4 through 12th grade students must have their birthday by September first for each respective grade.  Exceptions may be made in unusual circumstances and the child may enroll in Soaring Eagles Christian Academy on a thirty-day trial basis.

Requirements Print

Soaring Eagles Christian Academy is not simply a private school.  It is a Christian school in every sense of the word.  The goal of SECA is to produce Christ-likeness in our students.   This is accomplished through every aspect of our program.  For that reason, we have set the highest academic, physical, spiritual, and social standards for ourselves and for our students.
In order for a child to be admitted to Soaring Eagles Christian Academy the following requirements must be met:

Parents must:
1. Read the School Handbook completely and meet with the administrator.
2. Fill out a registration form.
3. Pay the non-refundable registration fee to reserve a classroom space.  A non-refundable matriculation fee for books, supplies, insurance, etc. must be paid at the same time or by July 1 to maintain the reserved space.
4. Pay the first month’s tuition before the student may attend class.
5. Submit the following for each child: current South Carolina
immunization record and a copy of his/her birth certificate.
New students entering 1st – 12th grades may be required to take a placement test  ($25
charge) and meet with the administrator.

Note:  SECA recognizes that a certain percentage of every classroom may possess educational disabilities of some sort.   In addition to normal classroom instruction, SECA teachers may be capable of minifying and accommodating mainstream classroom instruction to meet the needs of these exceptional students.  However, verification of these needs must be provided through qualified diagnostic testing before modifications can be authorized.  SECA may not be capable of providing the educational services necessary for those with severe educational disabilities or extreme ADD/ADHD.
